Face book Timeline was accidentally released very briefly to the public in December 2010 then it was called as Face book Memories but it was promptly removed .Now in September 2011, Mark Zuckerberg at Face book’s F8 conference announced face book Timeline. But question is what face book timeline is.
Face book Timeline is a section of a Face book user's account that replaces the Profile and Wall pages, and merges them together. It shows the story of your life, since your birthday to most recent update.Facebook timeline give you impression of magazine and let you allow reviewing your whole life at single page.
To get Face book timeline you have to fallow fallowing steps:
1. Go to the Face book timeline announcement page
2. Look at bottom of page
3. Click green button that is highlighted with "Get Timeline."
But what if you want to undo Face book timeline?
No, you are unable to undo previous look of face book instead of Face book Timeline.
Face book timeline allow you to edit your previous profile ,status update photos etc within 7 days after you first lunch face book timeline to yours account before it is publish .
Now we take quick tour to face book timeline:
Start with cover page
The first thing that you can apply to your face book time line is cover . Your cover above your profile picture and it is first thing people will see when they look at your profile.

You can upload your cover and can choose from photo depending on you just click add cover at the top of your header file.
View
Here you can see everything yours photo, likes, apps at central place.
Activity log
With activity log you can view all yours activities since you joined facebook.To enable it go to activity log button to most right page of face book timeline view.
Rediscovering your stories
The arrow highlighted your time line .it is your collocation of most memorable photo, events and experience. You can scroll down to the beginning or jump to specific date at right side of your time.
 You can also see all of the posts from your past by clicking the Highlights drop-down. 
Star or hide
You can delete or hide the post and expend it by hover over a story and by clicking star and pencil.
 There are always pictures or things in your updates that you don’t want to relive or show off. If you want to hide these posts from the timeline, there is a pencil icon next to each post in your timeline. If you click it, you are given the option to hide it or even change the date.  If you would like to promote an update you are proud of, you can click the star. If you click the star again, you will minimize again. 
Add experience
You can add anything just clicking on life events button to share your experience with your friends.
Facebook will become mandatory for all user in few days.but how you can hide your past from stranger.
1. Go to your privacy settings page.
2. Scroll on down to “Limit Audience for Old Posts.”
3. Click on “Manage Past Post Visibility.”
4. Push the button above.
If you have got Facebook Timeline and want to change back to viewing the old style profile pages, or if you haven't got Timeline yet, but just want to view your friend's Timeline pages in the old style profile format Just changing your browser agent to IE7.
